Me envía un enlace mi hija para que vea en You Tube a esta cálida y nueva voz del jazz (algo en la línea de Diana Krall).

Le contesto que ya hace días que disfruto de su voz en mi Ipod mientras me entreno en el Boulder (Melody Gardot estuvo en Barcelona cantando hace poco), y que el enlace que me remite a la canción Baby, I'm a fool, tiene una versión mejor (la que envía es el clip promocional), y que es esta:

Nuevas voces para cantar las que ahora ya son viejas canciones estandar de siempre. Las nuevas voces, que cubren nichos de mercado antes ocupados por, en su momento, voces excepcionales, ¿las superan?. Veamos (mejor oigamos) cantar The look of love a Mireille Mathieu y Dusty Springfield esta misma canción (han pasado cuarenta años...).
